The Mastery Collaborative is a new program/community for NYC public middle and high schools who are using, piloting, and/or exploring the use of mastery/competency-based systems.
The MC started during the 2014-15 school year as an interest-driven working group with monthly meetings, some online, and some in person. It's been a rewarding experience to work with some of the most thoughtful and innovative secondary educators in the city to build a community of mastery practitioners.
